Public Library

Project Description

In an effort to revitalize a dated, under-utilized public library in Arkansas, Studio D was engaged to provide conceptual architectural design for a new, centrally located facility that will serve as both a meeting place for the community and as a place for citizens and students to study and gather. The ability to see into and through the building helps establish it as a vibrant and dynamic part of the community. Topped by a large butterfly roof, the result is a cohesive and energetic community-centric building that is open, engaging and functional.
